The vivo V30 Pro is finally official, four weeks after the debut of the regular V30. The phone will also be sold internationally, with four 50-megapixel cameras – three on the back and another one on the front. The Pro version has the same body as the regular V30 and the S18 and S18 Pro models, which are only available in China. The vivo phones also share displays, batteries and charging rates.

The vivo V30 Pro has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset under the hood. The 4nm processor is significantly faster than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the normal V30. You can configure 8/256 GB or 12/512 GB of memory. The cameras were co-developed with Zeiss and offer features such as natural colors, edge watermarks and Zeiss-style portraits.

The sensors on the back are a Sony IMX920 for the main camera, a Samsung JN1 for the ultra-wide range and a Sony INX816 for the portrait telephoto camera. The vivo V30 Pro also features a rectangular Aura Light for softer and more even lighting of portraits in low light.

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display offers 10-bit colors, a 1260p resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness is 2,800 nits. The operating system used is Android 14 with vivo’s Funtouch 14 interface. In addition, there is a 5,000 mAh battery in the thinnest vivo smartphone currently available in international markets.
