Samsung Galaxy Ring appears in the Good Lock app

Samsung teased the Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked event last month. However, the Koreans did not talk about the functions of their first smart ring or a time frame for the market launch. Samsung has already listed the new wearable in the Good Lock app along with other Samsung devices in the “Battery Widgets” section. The whole thing strongly suggests that work on the smart ring is already in full swing and it could come onto the market this year.
In the screenshot above you can see the Galaxy Ring in the Battery Widget app of a Samsung Galaxy S24+. Previous rumors suggested that Samsung would unveil the Galaxy Ring in Q3 2024 or Q1 2025. The first date would coincide with Samsung’s next generation of foldables – the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 will be officially unveiled in the fall. The big question is when Samsung will complete development. Only then can mass production of the new smart ring begin.
