Google Watch Pixel 3 comes in two sizes

According to sources close to 9to5Google, Google will finally offer the upcoming Pixel Watch 3 in two different sizes. This was one of the main criticisms of the Pixel Watch 2 and the first model, which were too small for many users at 41 mm.

That could finally change with the Google Pixel Watch 3. There will be two sizes, with the 41 mm model remaining in the range. This makes sense considering that all of Google’s smartwatch competitors offer more than just one size option. Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t go into much detail. Therefore, we can only assume that both Google smartwatches have the same functions and that the only differences are the overall size and the display diagonal. In addition, the larger model should, as usual, offer better battery life.

Apple is said to have already sold 180,000 Vision Pro headsets

Apple announced its Vision Pro headset back in June, but official pre-orders in the US only started last week. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that Apple has sold between 160,000 and 180,000 units of its Vision Pro. The glasses are now sold out and Apple estimates the delivery time to be 5 to 7 weeks.

However, the high demand at the start is likely to subside as soon as the early adopters hold their Vision Pro in their hands. Estimated delivery times have not changed in the Vision Pro’s first two days of pre-order, which is not typically the case with other Apple devices. For the iPhone, for example, demand typically grows over time and delivery times also gradually increase. Kuo expects Apple to ship 500,000 units of the Vision Pro by the end of the year.

Samsung Galaxy Ring: Extremely light, different versions

Samsung had “One more thing” to tease at its Galaxy Unpacked event – the Galaxy Ring. While we only got a teaser at the event, analyst Avi Greengart also shared some technical data based on a Galaxy Ring prototype.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is remarkably lightweight and available in a variety of sizes up to US size 13 (22.2mm diameter). There will also be three different material versions and the launch date is later this year. The teaser images of the Galaxy Ring show pogo pins inside for charging, heart rate measurement and SpO2 monitoring, as well as sleep and stress tracking.

According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Ring could launch in the third quarter of 2024. However, Samsung itself has not yet announced any official launch details.
