OnePlus Buds 3 with dual speakers and 49 dB ANC are here
OnePlus today launched its new TWS wearables called OnePlus Buds 3 alongside the Ace 3 smartphone. The new headphones feature a dual-speaker design, active noise cancellation of up to 49 dB and an ultra-light body.
The OnePlus Buds 3 look very similar to the Buds Pro 2, but have a glossy finish. Inside, the OnePlus headphones use the same dual speaker solution as the Buds Pro 2, which offers rich sound according to OnePlus.
Active noise cancellation comes in multiple modes, with 10dB and 20dB being the intermediate options before the big jump to 49dB. There is an intelligent mode that automatically detects the environment and adjusts the ANC levels. Additionally, the Buds 3 feature rubber tips to improve noise isolation.
The OnePlus Buds 3 also have a touch-sensitive area on the outside of the stem. There are three microphones and OnePlus says AI helps reduce noise during calls. In addition, the earphones, which are extremely light at 4.8 grams, are IP55 certified. The battery has a capacity of 58 mAh and the charging case provides an additional 520 mAh.
Pre-orders are already open in the online shop of sister company Oppo in China, and sales are scheduled to start on January 8th. The Buds 3 are available in black or blue and are priced at CNY 500, which is €57/$63/INR5,955.
