Flipkart reveals launch date of Xiaomi Poco X6 series

Xiaomi has been busy teasing the Poco X6 series in the last few days. However, the company had not yet announced an official launch date, which the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart now took care of. Accordingly, the Poco X6 series will launch on January 11th in India, Xiaomi’s largest market apart from the Chinese home market. Two Xiaomi phones are likely to come to the party: the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro.

Flipkart has also set up a promo page for the Xiaomi Poco X6 series on its website, but the Indians are not revealing anything about the different models. However, a banner on Flipkart’s homepage shows one of the phones alongside the launch date.
According to rumors, the Poco X6 is a version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro while the Poco X6 Pro should be a version of the Redmi K70E. However, there will be some differences. The regular X6 is expected to have a 64-megapixel main camera instead of 200-megapixel like the Redmi Note 13 Pro. The ultra-wide camera, on the other hand, gets an upgrade from 8 to 13 megapixels. The Poco X6 Pro also has to make compromises when it comes to charging. Instead of 90 watts like the Redmi K70E, only 67 watts go through the cable.
Poco also recently confirmed that at least one of the phones will get a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. The same chip powers the Redmi K70E. If the rumors are true, the Poco X6 Pro will be one of the most powerful cell phones in the lower mid-range. Here you can check out the detailed specifications of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi K70E to know what to expect from the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro.
