Apple introduced the iPhone 15 series at its Wonderlust event in September along with the new FineWoven cases for the iPhones. As part of its environmental efforts, the company decided to no longer offer leather accessories. The FineWoven cases received mixed reactions as some users missed the feel of real leather while others found them not durable enough. To solve this problem, Dubai-based luxury company Caviar has taken on the matter.

Caviar is known for its luxury, custom-made appliances. For Apple’s FineWoven cases, this means a material change to genuine Hermes leather in terms of the fabric covering the cases. The MagSafe functions of the iPhones remain fully intact. Hermes also uses the same material to produce the well-known Birkin handbags. The new cases are available in three colors: Fine Orange, Fine Blue and Fine Brown.

The case in Fine Orange uses Hermes Epsom leather. The cases in Fine Blue and Fine Brown come in Hermes Togo leather. They all feature Caviar’s relief crown, made from a jewelry alloy and plated with 24-karat gold.

Caviar’s custom-made FineWoven cases are available for the Apple iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro Max via Caviar’s website for $2,060 (€1,865/INR 171,490), $2,130 (€1,925/INR 177,320) and for $2,200 (€1,990/INR 183,150). The iPhone 15 Pro version costs $2,130 (€1,925/INR 177,320).
