Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ with 108 MP camera and selfie flash is here
Tecno made the Spark 20C official in November, followed by the Spark 20 and Spark 20 Pro in December. But there was still a fourth member in the family to come, which was actually planned for January. We’re talking about the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+, the top model in the series. There was no official launch event, but it is already listed on Tecno’s website.
A MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage takes over the drive. The Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ measures 164.65 x 75.04 x 7.55 mm and has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33 watt wired charging. The smartphone also starts directly with Android 14, which is nice to see on a cheap smartphone. On the back there is a 108 megapixel main camera with a 1/1.67 inch sensor and an aperture of f/1.75. In addition to 3x in-sensor zoom, 10x digital zoom is also available. There is also a 32 megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2, which also has a dual LED flash like the main camera.
The heart of the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel has curved sides and, in addition to a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, also offers 2,160 Hz PWM dimming and an integrated fingerprint sensor. There is also an IP53 certification for protection against dust and splash water.
There are four color variants: Temporal Orbits, Lunar Frost, Radiant Starstream and Magic Skin 2.0 Green. The latter has a back made of faux leather, the remaining models use structured glass. Tecno also points out its “self-developed Dynamic Port,” which is “Always-On, Never In the Way.” As you can imagine, this is Tecno’s interpretation of Apple’s Dynamic Island. But a classic always-on display is also on board.
In Tecno’s own words, the Dynamic Port “cleverly merges with the hole screen, giving you early access to the leading-edge cool gadget!
