Honor Magic6 Pro and Magic6 Porsche Design: new images

Honor is currently working hard on the Magic6 series and now the first live photo of the Magic6 Pro has appeared online. A Weibo user shared an image that shows clear similarities to its predecessor, the Magic5 Pro. Honor and Porsche Design also announced the start of a new partnership last week. The first product of the joint work of both companies will be a Magic6 Porsche Design smartphone. Today Honor published the first teaser on Weibo. A short time later, the image also appeared on the personal profiles of several of the company’s executives, including CMO Harrison Jiang.

The leaked image of the Honor Magic6 Pro shows three cameras arranged in a triangle formation. The top one has a periscope lens and the words “100x Zoom” can be read next to it. The tipster also shared a rendering that better shows the overall design of the camera island.

The new image is significantly different from a previously released render, suggesting a fake or a different phone. According to the new images, Honor will apparently stick to the previous design of the Magic6 Pro. As usual, there will be some improvements in the camera department, along with the introduction of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The teaser for the Honor Magic6 Porsche Design, on the other hand, reveals little about the upcoming smartphone apart from the fact that it is a large cell phone with curved display edges. The latest Porsche 911 can also be seen in the background to remind everyone that Porsche Design is associated with the sports car brand.
As far as cameras go, OmniVision’s new OV50K sensor is a safe bet. The company has also already confirmed that the Honor Magic6 series will start in January 2024.
