OnePlus 12R: Specs and launch date leaked
With all the hype surrounding the new flagship OnePlus 12, it’s easy to forget about another upcoming OnePlus phone – the OnePlus 12R is also about to launch. The device is expected to launch globally alongside the OnePlus 12 in January 2024. Thanks to reliable tipster Max Jambor, various technical data now leaked today.
Accordingly, the OnePlus 12R is based on a curved, 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1 – 120 Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The drive is provided by last year’s fastest chipset – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. OnePlus also installs up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The new leak also reveals a 50-megapixel main camera with an IMX890 sensor. We also get an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The new model is also said to have a large 5,500 mAh battery with 100 watt fast charging.
The OnePlus 12R will be launched in Iron Gray and Cool Blue colors. The launch is expected to take place on January 4th in China, while the international debut will coincide with the global launch of the OnePlus 12. This is scheduled for January 23rd.
