Samsung Galaxy A15: NBTC certification and new images
The Samsung Galaxy A15 4G and A15 5G have been floating around the rumor mill for months. Today the next leak emerged about the LTE version, which was certified for local sale by the Thai NBTC authority with the model name SM-A155F/DSN. The market launch is now one step closer. Thanks to the benchmarking service Geekbench, it is already known that a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 4 GB of RAM takes over the drive. The current Android 14 is used as the operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G should have a Dimensity 6100+ chipset with 4 or 6 GB of RAM under the hood instead. Up to 128 GB of storage can also be combined with microSD cards of up to 1 TB. The 6.5-inch OLED display has a FullHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. A 5,000 mAh battery with 25 watt charging provides power.
According to rumors, the main camera on the back of the Samsung phone has a resolution of 50 megapixels. There is also a 5 megapixel ultra-wide cam and a 2 megapixel depth sensor, while the selfie camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels.
The Galaxy A15 5G should also have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is available in black, blue and yellow. According to a leak, it will cost $149 in the US and around €250 in Europe. According to rumors, Samsung also wants to bring the Galaxy A15 4G to the European market. Looking at the predecessor Galaxy A14, it should become official in the next few weeks.
