Some recent rumors suggest that Samsung will finally be using OLED displays on its entry-level phones of the Galaxy A15 series starting next year. A report from South Korean website The Elec assumes that Samsung will finally replace the LCD panels of the previous affordable members of the Galaxy A series with OLED displays due to the lower price of rigid OLED panels. The Samsung Galaxy A14 still relied on LCD technology.

The Samsung Galaxy A15 is expected to have a display diagonal of 6.4 inches and a U-shaped notch for the 13 megapixel front camera. It will be launched in both 4G and 5G variants. The LTE version will have a Helio G99 chipset, 4GB of RAM and Android 14, according to a Geekbench test. The model name is SM-A156B for the Asian region and SM-A156E or SM-A156U for the US versions.

A 50 megapixel main camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15 watt charging power (EB-BA156ABY charger) are also rumored. The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G was launched in January this year and the 4G variant was launched in February. Therefore, we can expect the Galaxy A15 to launch at the same time next year. The 5G model is expected to cost 250 euros, while the 4G variant will be slightly cheaper.
