Redmi M100 unveiled with large 7,900mAh battery and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5
The Redmi M100 is now officially available in China and has been quietly listed on the Xiaomi website. The smartphone features a 6.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 825 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
The Redmi phone features a 13-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 7,900mAh battery with support for 45-watt fast charging. The smartphone runs HyperOS 3. It measures 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm and weighs 232 g.
Redmi M100 prices
It is available in Wilderness Green, Star Rain White, and Deep Night Black. You can purchase it in three RAM/storage configurations: 8/128 GB, 6/256 GB, and 8/256 GB. The price starts at 1,999 CNY, which is currently approximately 254 euros/296 US dollars.
It’s unclear whether Redmi plans to launch the M100 outside of China, but the upcoming Poco M8x looks very similar, and the officially confirmed specifications so far match those of the M100. Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Poco M8x turns out to be a rebranded Redmi M100 for international markets.
