While the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event has recently been dominating the headlines—understandable given that Samsung is expected to announce not two, but three foldable smartphones—the rumor mill never stops churning. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, the company’s upcoming flagship tablet, is also slowly getting ready for launch and has surfaced in a new series of renderings.

The well-known leaker OnLeaks has teamed up with Smartphone Checker to create CAD-based renderings of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra tablet. These renderings are, of course, based on insider information about the flagship tablet.

The renderings show a design and dimensions that are essentially unchanged compared to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra – 326.34 x 208.46 x 5.12 mm. This also includes the design of the front.

Previous reports suggested that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra would switch to a punch-hole front camera design, but the new CAD renderings show the semicircular cutout of the previous generation.

The report also confirms the upgrade to the Dimensity 9500 chipset, but the battery capacity remains unchanged at 11,600 mAh compared to last year. The expected launch date for the new Galaxy tablet is September.
