Samsung Galaxy M47 specs and launch date revealed
Last week, Samsung announced that the Galaxy M47 5G would soon be launched in India. The company has now revealed some key specifications of the smartphone and confirmed the official release date.
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be unveiled in India on June 29th. It will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
It will be equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. On the software side, the Galaxy M47 5G will ship with One UI 8.5, based on Android 16. Samsung promises six generations of Android operating system upgrades and six years of security updates.
Samsung Galaxy M47 with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip
Although Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the chipset, a recently published Geekbench entry suggests the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy M47 5G will feature a large battery supporting 45W fast charging and bypass charging.
For photos, the Galaxy smartphone features a triple rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 12MP selfie camera is housed in a notch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be available in the color variants Blaze Blue and Rogue Red.
