Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra 2: 3C certification reveals charging speeds
Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation Galaxy Watches alongside its new foldable smartphones in London on July 22. While Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed how many smartwatches it will present, the charging times of two models have now been revealed through a new 3C certification. These are most likely the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and the Watch Ultra 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra 2 have appeared in the 3C database with model numbers SM-L3550 and SM-L7150, respectively, indicating support for 10-watt charging. SM-L3550 is presumably the Galaxy Watch9, while SM-L7150 is likely the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
The Galaxy Watch8 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra had the same charging speed, so we can only hope that the new models will at least offer better battery life.
No Samsung Galaxy Watch9 Classic?
A Samsung Galaxy Watch9 Classic, on the other hand, is rather unlikely, as Samsung usually only releases a Classic model every other generation, and the Galaxy Watch8 Classic was already launched last year.
Samsung has not yet released any information regarding the specifications of its upcoming Galaxy Watches. However, the Korean manufacturer recently confirmed the launch of several Galaxy Watches and presented their health features as part of the new update to the Samsung Health app.
