Samsung Galaxy A27: Full technical specifications and new images have surfaced

The Samsung Galaxy A27 is expected to be released in the second half of 2026. Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed the exact release date, but thanks to previously leaked renderings, we know what it will look like. Now, further renderings of the Galaxy A27 have surfaced from the same source, OnLeaks, showing the smartphone in new colors like light pink, blue, and black, confirming earlier design leaks.

The complete technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A27, however, were leaked by MyMobiles, who claim to have seen the official press materials for the smartphone. According to them, the Galaxy A27 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and features 6 or 8 GB of RAM as well as 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. Unlike the Galaxy A26, however, it does not have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Samsung Galaxy A27 launches with One UI 8.5
On the software side, the A27 ships with Android 16 and the One UI 8.5 user interface. However, there is no confirmation of how long software support will be maintained.
The Galaxy A27’s triple rear camera consists of a 50MP main camera (with OIS), a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 12MP front camera is available for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy A26 was equipped with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 13MP selfie camera. Therefore, the A27’s ultrawide and selfie cameras represent a downgrade, at least in terms of resolution, as earlier rumors suggested that the A27’s lower resolution selfie camera would produce better photos than the A26’s 13MP selfie camera.
The press releases also mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy A27 will have a 6.7-inch FullHD+ display, without revealing the panel type or refresh rate. Since the Galaxy A26 featured a 120Hz AMOLED screen, we expect the A27 to also have a 120Hz AMOLED display.
The Samsung Galaxy A27, like the Galaxy A26, will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and 25-watt charging support. Weighing in at 200 g, it’s the same weight as the A26, but despite having the same battery capacity, it’s 0.1 mm thicker. According to the source, the Galaxy A27 measures 162.4 × 78.2 × 7.8 mm, while OnLeaks previously reported 162.3 × 78.6 × 7.9 mm. Both of these measurements, however, still require second-party confirmation.
