Redmi 17 with 7,000 mAh battery before launch
Redmi recently confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 5 will be launched in India. According to a new report, the company is now also planning to launch a new Redmi 17 5G smartphone.
According to the report, both smartphones are expected to launch in India on June 18th. The Redmi 17 is said to be an entry-level model with 5G capability.
According to the tip, the Redmi smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 4 chipset and a battery with a capacity of over 7,000 mAh. It will also reportedly have a high refresh rate LCD display.
Redmi 17 with 50 MP camera and Android 16
The report further claims that the Redmi 17 5G will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is expected to ship with HyperOS based on Android 16.
The Redmi Turbo 5 debuted in China in January with a 6.59 inch AMOLED screen, a Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, a 50 MP main camera on the back and a 7,560 mAh battery.
