Poco C81 with 120Hz display and 6,300mAh battery and C81x unveiled
As announced, Poco has expanded its portfolio of C-series smartphones with the introduction of the Poco C81 and C81x.
Poco C81
The Poco C81 is a 4G smartphone with a Unisoc T7250 chipset and 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It features 64 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card. The operating system is HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Poco promises four major Android updates and six years of security patches.
The C81 features a 6.9-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD display with 800 nits of HBM brightness. The display has a cutout for the 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the back is a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera.
The 6,300 mAh battery supports 15-watt charging and can also charge other devices thanks to 7.5-watt reverse wireless charging. Other features include IP52 water resistance, a wet-touch display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Poco mobile phone is available in a single configuration with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, and in three colors: Sunset Gold, Sky Blue and Elite Black.
Poco C81x
The C81x has a slightly different design, less RAM, a smaller display with lower brightness, a single rear camera, and a smaller battery. This translates to 3GB of RAM, a 6.88-inch display with 650 nits of HBM brightness, a 13-megapixel main camera, and a 5,200mAh battery. The smartphone also runs Android 15 and will receive two major Android upgrades as well as four years of security updates.
It is available in a single configuration with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, and in two colors – Ice Blue and Crystal Black.
The Poco C81x costs 10,999 INR (100 €/115 USD), the C81x is priced at 9,999 INR (90 €/105 USD). Both will be available in India via Flipkart from April 27th.
