Oppo has quietly released the next A6 variant – the Oppo A6k has just launched in China. Highlights include a 7,000 mAh battery and a Dimensity 6300 chipset.

The Oppo A6k features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and a peak brightness of 1,125 nits. The smartphone is dustproof and waterproof according to IP69 standards.

The Dimensity 6300 chipset is equipped with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD card slot is also available for storage expansion.

On the back the Oppo smartphone features a dual camera with a 50MP main sensor with autofocus and a 2MP monochrome unit. For selfies, the smartphone has an 8MP camera.

The phone features a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, it still ships with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, even though the first Android 17 tests are already underway.

Oppo A6k prices

The Oppo A6k is available in Dawn Gold, Twilight Blue, and Seashell White. It can already be purchased in China through Oppo’s official online store.

As for pricing, the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 1,999 CNY (€249/USD 290), while the model with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs 2,199 CNY (€274/USD 320). There is also a variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which costs 2,399 CNY (€299/USD 350).
