Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: New teasers and leaks with images and specs
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, which we’ve been hearing about for over a month, will soon be unveiled. This information comes from Motorola’s Indian branch, which has already teased the Edge 70 Fusion with several posts on X, including one with the note “Coming soon.” The same post shows the Motorola mobile phone in two colors, thus confirming earlier design leaks.
Although the upcoming model is not explicitly mentioned in any of the X posts, the use of the word “Fusion” in a second post is a clear indication of the imminent launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion.
Furthermore, the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart also set up a teaser page for the Edge 70 Fusion with the text “a fusion that gives you the edge”, which is hard to misinterpret.
Flipkart also confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be available in the Pantone colors Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette. All models feature a leather-look back. Previous leaks showed the Edge 70 Fusion in five colors, but apparently only three will be offered in India—at least initially.
A recently leaked marketing image suggested that the Edge 70 Fusion would feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. Other sources claim it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while still others bring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 into play. However, there is a possibility that Motorola uses different chips in different markets.

The image also confirms that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will have 12 GB of RAM, although rumors of an 8 GB model had also circulated. Other rumors point to 256 GB of storage, a 6.78-inch 144 Hz AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 5,200 nits of brightness, and a 7,000 mAh battery with 68-watt fast charging.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is also said to have a 32 MP front camera and a 50 MP main camera with a Sony LYTIA sensor on the back. The smartphone runs Android 16 and is expected to receive three operating system updates. In addition to IP68 and IP69 certifications, it also meets the military standard MIL-STD-810H.
Flipkart will announce further details on February 23rd. Although the official release date is still unknown, the URL of Flipkart’s promotional page lists February 26th. However, it remains unclear whether Motorola will unveil the Edge 70 Fusion on that day.
