Redmi Turbo 5 with Dimensity 8500 Ultra and 100W charging before launch
The Redmi Turbo 5 series will be unveiled tomorrow in China. Ahead of the launch, Redmi has already teased some details about the product line. After recently revealing the key specifications of the Turbo 5 Max, the brand has now released further technical data for the base model.
In a series of Weibo posts, Redmi confirmed that the Turbo 5 will be equipped with the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset together with faster LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone will also feature a 3D ice-sealed vapor chamber, which improves heat dissipation and thus continuous performance, for example during extensive Gaming.
Redmi Turbo 5 with 7,560 mAh battery
Redmi has also revealed details about the display and battery of the Turbo 5. It will be equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and a 7,560 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.
It will feature a metal frame, narrow display bezels, and a glass back. Images released by Redmi show the Redmi Turbo 5 in white and mint green. It is expected to cost the equivalent of approximately 2,000 CNY (241 euros/290 US dollars) in China.
