Xiaomi 17 Max comes with the largest battery in the series
According to a new leak from China, Xiaomi’s flagship 17 series is set to expand soon. The rumored addition is the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max, which will boast the largest battery of any Xiaomi phone and thus apparently live up to its name. According to a new leak, the capacity is a whopping 8,000 mAh.
The battery supports wired charging at 100 watts and wireless charging at 50 watts. The Xiaomi 17 Max will be like the Base model, the Pro and Pro Max as well as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and feature a display with extremely narrow, symmetrical bezels. The camera unit’s design is said to be very similar to that of the standard Xiaomi 17 model.
Speaking of cameras: The Xiaomi 17 Max will have the same main camera as the base model, but will also feature a periscope telephoto camera. Overall, the camera quality is expected to be slightly better than that of the Xiaomi 17.
What’s still missing is an official launch date. As is typical with Xiaomi, the next leak won’t be long in coming. We’ll keep our eyes peeled.
