Motorola is preparing for the launch of its new Signature series smartphone, scheduled for tomorrow. Ahead of the big reveal, a tipster shared Evan Blass Now, the complete technical specifications of the Motorola Signature are available. Furthermore, a new leak has revealed support for Motorola’s popular stylus pen.

Motorola Signature technical specifications

The Motorola Signature is intended to be a flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. It will be equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels and a 165 Hz refresh rate. The panel is also rumored to house a 50 MP selfie camera with a Sony LYT 500 sensor, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

The Motorola Signature is expected to feature a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP main camera featuring a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor (1/1.28 inch) and an f/1.6 aperture. This will be complemented by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (LYTIA 600) with a 71mm focal length and 3x optical zoom. The third module on the back is a 50MP ultrawide lens (12mm equivalent) that also functions as a macro camera.

The Signature will also feature IP69/IP68 protection and a 5,200 mAh battery with 90-watt wired, 50-watt wireless, and 10-watt reverse wireless charging. According to the leak, Motorola will include its 90-watt TurboPower charger in the retail box.

The software will be based on the current Android 16 and receive operating system updates and security patches for seven years. The Signature is expected to measure 162.1 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm and weigh 186 grams, which matches the previously rumored specifications of the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra.

Motorola Signature supports stylus

The exact launch date for the Signature is supposed to be January 6th, so tomorrow. We already saw the phone in leaked renderings last month, and now there’s a new promotional image – but this one has a special feature: As you can see, a stylus is pictured in front of the phone.

This strongly suggests that the Signature will support a stylus, which isn’t surprising. Rumors circulated in early December that the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Ultra would support a stylus, and the Signature is essentially that device under a new, more modern name. The leaked image above confirms this previously rumored information.
