OnePlus Turbo 6: Live images and battery capacity confirmed
The OnePlus Turbo 6 will be launched on January 8th, and in advance the brand has now revealed the design of the smartphone, the extremely large battery capacity and the extremely thin camera island.

OnePlus has presented several live images in two color variants: one is called “Chasing Light Silver” (above) according to the translation from Chinese, the second “Wilderness Green” (below).
The OnePlus Turbo 6 is expected to be released with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It will reportedly be equipped with a 165Hz refresh rate display and be IP69 dustproof and waterproof. It will be offered with the following storage options: 12/256GB, 12/512GB, 16/256GB, and 16/512GB.

OnePlus has also confirmed the often rumored battery capacity of 9,000 mAh for the Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V, and revealed another interesting detail: The camera unit protrudes only 1.7 mm from the back.
It is therefore not quite flush as with RedMagic phones, but almost. Whether that speaks in favor of the OnePlus Turbo 6 or not remains to be seen. A long focal length is obviously not possible with such slim bodies. The focus here is clearly on the design.
The 6V version, by the way, gets the slightly weaker Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip as a control center. The Turbo 6 also features a 165 Hz display and is available in silver, black, and green. The Turbo 6V has a 144 Hz display and will be released in blue, black, and white.
