The iQOO 15 was launched in China in October and became available in other countries a month later. According to a new rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the sub-brand of vivo now works on the high-end smartphone iQOO 15 Ultra. It first surfaced in the rumor mill back in October, and today we are receiving further alleged details about it.

The iQOO 15 Ultra will be officially unveiled before February 17th. As previously rumored, the focus is on gaming. It will feature an active fan and shoulder buttons. The fan will be the largest ever used in a smartphone, offering outstanding cooling performance.

iQOO 15 Ultra with superior performance

In fact, iQOO will reportedly claim that this active cooling system will bring the performance of the 15 Ultra closer to that of upcoming next-generation chipsets such as the Dimensity 9600 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.

The iQOO 15 Ultra will feature the same high-quality Samsung display panel as the iQOO 15. Incidentally, the same display is also expected to be used in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. It offers a screen diagonal of 6.85 inches, a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 6,000 nits. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
