iQOO 15 Ultra comes with a focus on gaming and productivity

The iQOO 15 was just unveiled in China and is scheduled to launch globally next month. Interestingly, the brand is working on another device that will be part of the series. The iQOO 15 Ultra (the name is still unconfirmed) is currently in development, as officially confirmed by Luo Feng, iQOO VP of Products.
iQOO 15 Ultra with gaming triggers

The iQOO 15 Ultra is described by the manufacturer as a “gaming productivity tool” and is said to be the most powerful iQOO ever. Combining gaming and productivity doesn’t really make sense. Ultimately, all you need for both is a large display, plenty of processor power, and the right software.
The iQOO 15 Ultra is said to feature dedicated gaming triggers, an active cooling system, and IP68 dust and water resistance. It will feature a QHD+ screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a periscope telephoto camera, and wireless charging capabilities. All of this can also be said of the iQOO 15, so the Ultra’s main advantage will likely be its gaming focus.
What unfortunately remains unclear for now is the launch date.
iQOO 15 breaks sales records
The regular iQOO 15, on the other hand, has already seen its first record-breaking sales figures. According to iQOO, as many units were sold in the first 30 minutes of its availability as the previous model sold on its entire first day.

The iQOO 15 Honor of Kings Edition is already sold out, and a new batch is expected on October 24. The international launch will take place in November.
The iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 1,440 x 3,168 pixel resolution, and 6,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It also features 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage.
There’s a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The operating system is Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
