Redmi Note 15 and Note 15 5G celebrate world premiere
The global Redmi Note 15 series has been officially unveiled, and the base model Note 15 is once again available in two variants. There’s the Note 15 5G, which features some modified specifications for the global market, and the 4G model, offered at a lower price. The two Redmi phones are virtually indistinguishable visually, as they feature identical designs with identical displays, backs, and camera modules.
Both global variants feature a curved 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The displays offer a maximum local brightness of 3,200 nits and an integrated optical fingerprint scanner.
The 5G Note 15 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and 6, 8, or 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128, 256, or 512 GB of storage. The 4G version features the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and is configurable with the same storage options.
Both global Redmi Note 15 models feature 108MP main cameras with Samsung’s ISOCELL HM9 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). The 5G variant also has an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the 4G model has a 2MP depth camera. Both smartphones are also equipped with 20MP selfie cameras.
The Note 15 boasts a 6,000 mAh battery and 33-watt charging capability, while the Note 15 5G features a slightly smaller 5,520 mAh silicon-carbon battery and faster 45-watt charging. Both smartphones run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. The 4G variant is IP64-rated, while the 5G model is IP66-rated.

The Redmi Note 15 is available in Glacier Blue, Purple, Forest Green and Black, while the 5G model is offered in Glacier Blue, Misty Purple and Black.
The base model is available in glacier blue, purple, forest green, and black, and starts at €229 / £179 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version. The 5G version is offered in glacier blue, misty purple, and black. Prices start at €279 / £199 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version. Pre-orders are expected to begin on January 5th.
