Honor Play 60A with 5,300 mAh battery and Dimensity 6300 chip is here

Honor has quietly launched a new 5G smartphone in its Play series in China. The Honor Play 60A is available in a single RAM/storage configuration and can currently be purchased from the official Honor online store in China.


The Play 60A features a 6.75-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.


It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The smartphone runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.


The new Honor Play series smartphone features a 13-MP main camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Both cameras can record videos in 1080p resolution.
The Honor Play 60A only charges at 15 watts
Power is supplied by a 5,300 mAh battery, which can only be charged via cable and at a mere 15 watts. It features a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.3. The Honor Play 60A weighs 187 g and is 7.89 mm thick.
The smartphone is available in Azure Sky, Inky Black Rock, and Lake Blue. The price for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is 1,599 CNY (€193/USD220).
