Motorola Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) unveiled with Dimensity 6300 chip
The Motorola Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) have just been officially unveiled in North America.
Motorola Moto G (2026)
The Motorola Moto G (2026) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and features 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. A 5,200 mAh battery provides the necessary power and can be charged at up to 30 watts.
The main camera of the Motorola Moto G (2026) has a 50 MP resolution, while the selfie camera has 32 MP. Additionally, a macro camera is included.
The 6.7-inch display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a brightness of up to 1,000 nits in “High Brightness” mode, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is IP52 dust and water resistant. The Moto G will be available in Pantone Slipstream and Pantone Cattleya Orchid and will ship with Android 16.
The Motorola Moto G (2026) will be available starting December 11th in the US from Motorola’s online store, as well as from Verizon, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, Tracfone, Walmart Family, and Visible. Availability on T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, AT&T, Google Fi Wireless, Xfinity Mobile, Consumer Cellular, Optimum Mobile, and UScellular will follow in the coming months. It will be available on Amazon and Best Buy starting January 15th. The suggested retail price is $199.99 (174 euros).
Motorola Moto G Play (2026)
The Motorola Moto G Play (2026) is identical except for the 32 MP main camera, the 8 MP selfie camera, and the maximum charging power of 18 watts. It will be available in the Pantone Tapestry color. All surfaces have a leather-like finish.
The Moto G Play (2026) will be available starting November 13th at Motorola.com, Amazon, Best Buy, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, UScellular, and Cox Mobile. In the coming months, it will also be available at Cricket Wireless, AT&T, Verizon, Verizon Prepaid, Visible, Simple Mobile, Tracfone, Walmart Family, Consumer Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, and Boost Mobile. The suggested retail price for the Motorola smartphone is $169.99 (148 euros).
In Canada, the Moto G (2026) will be available directly from Motorola starting December 11th, and the Moto G Play (2026) starting November 13th.
