RedMagic 11 Pro with liquid cooling launches globally

RedMagic launched its flagship smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Pro, today in global markets. The newly announced model is identical to the RedMagic 11 Pro+, which is only available in China. The gaming smartphone boasts impressive specifications and several industry firsts—it’s the first mass-produced smartphone with liquid cooling.

The liquid cooling system is called AquaCore and is even integrated into the design of the RedMagic 11 Pro. The cooling system is visible on the back of the phone in the two transparent versions, Nightfreeze and Subzero. A third, non-transparent model in black, called Cryo, is also available.

The RedMagic 11 Pro is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and also features the company’s own RedCore R4 chip. Together with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, these two components enable features such as Super Resolution Frame Interpolation, improved touch responsiveness, and 33% lower latency.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip offers a CPU frequency of up to 4.6 GHz, a GPU frequency of up to 1.2 GHz, and a 37% faster NPU compared to its predecessor, the RedMagic 10S Pro. It is optionally equipped with 12, 16, or 24 GB of RAM.

RedMagic states that the 11 Pro’s vapor chamber, at 13,116 mm², is the largest in the world. In addition, it features a liquid metal coating, active liquid cooling, and a 24,000 RPM active fan, which is said to give the smartphone impressive sustained performance.

RedMagic claims its smartphone beats the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max in a direct gaming test, offering a higher average frame rate (60.9 fps vs. 59.6 fps), lower frame rate variance (0.5 fps vs. 6.5 fps), and lower battery consumption while gaming (27% vs. 49%).

The other specifications are also quite impressive. On the front is a 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with the latest generation of RedMagic’s under-display camera. The resolution is 16MP. The 7,500mAh battery is another highlight, offering ultra-fast 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. On the back are two 50MP cameras – a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle fixed-focus camera.

The RedMagic 11 Pro is available exclusively through redmagic.gg and select partners, as well as in numerous countries across North America, Europe (including the UK), Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East, starting November 18th.
