Xiaomi will officially unveil the Redmi K90 Pro Max on October 23rd and a few days ago already showed the phone’s design in a video. Today, the next round of teasers with the most important technical specifications was released.

The Redmi K90 Pro Max’s battery is likely to attract the most attention, with a capacity of 7,560 mAh. It supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 22.5W reverse charging. It is also advertised as fully compatible with 100W PPS chargers.

The powertrain is provided by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a new “AI-independent display chip” D2. The SoC is cooled by Xiaomi’s largest vapor chamber yet.

The display is also extremely large at 6.9 inches and is based on OLED technology with a full RGB subpixel array. It supports DC dimming across the entire brightness range, features a circular polarizer, and supports a minimum brightness of just 1 nit for eye protection and power conservation.

The main camera uses a 1/1.31-inch sensor, the same one used in the Xiaomi 17. There’s also a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and Redmi’s first periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, 10x “lossless” hybrid zoom, and OIS. According to the latest leak, a Bose mini subwoofer is also on board.
