Huawei nova 14 Lite with Kirin 8000 chip introduced
In addition to the newly announced nova 14 Flip S, Huawei has also announced a new member of its nova 14 series. The Huawei nova 14 Lite, also known as the Vitality Edition, has similar specifications to the standard nova 14 model, albeit with a few omissions here and there.
The Huawei nova 14 Lite features the same 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also features a 50 MP selfie camera and a 5,500 mAh battery, although the charging speed is limited to 66 watts, compared to the 100 watts of the nova 14.
The Nova 14 Lite also features a 50 MP main camera with an RYYB sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens that also serves as a macro camera, but without the third sensor of the Nova 14.
As usual, Huawei hasn’t revealed the exact chipset in the nova 14 Lite, but speculation suggests it could be the same Kirin 8000 as in the nova 14. The software side is covered by HarmonyOS 5.1.
The Huawei nova 14 Lite is available in Ice Blue, Frost White, and Feather Sand Black. Prices in China start at CNY 2,149 (€259/$301) for the 256 GB model and rise to CNY 2,449 (€295/$344) with 512 GB storage.
