The Realme GT 8 Pro will be unveiled alongside the rest of the series later this month. It will be the first smartphone to feature special Ricoh features as part of the new partnership between Realme and Ricoh Imaging. The two brands will host a special event tomorrow to reveal more details about their collaboration. We have some new information ahead of the keynote.

First, there’s an intuitive algorithm engine that corrects common mistakes in smartphone photography, such as oversharpening, oversaturation, and excessive blurring.

Realme also announced that it will feature RAW-level pixel processing for maximum image data, full 10-bit color depth, and Ultra Sense HDR for natural light and shadow balance.

Realme GT 8 Pro: Ricoh GR cameras with 28 mm and 40 mm

We have also received confirmation that the Realme GT 8 Pro will be compatible with the Ricoh GR’s full-frame equivalent focal lengths of 28 mm and 40 mm.

The camera configuration will reportedly feature a 7P anti-reflective lens film with ultra-low reflection coating and up to 97% light transmittance.

The GT 8 Pro will offer the legendary Ricoh GR photo tones. These include five options: Positive, Negative, High-Contrast Black & White, Standard, and Monochrome.

The Realme GT 8 Pro will also feature an immersive viewfinder mode inspired by the Ricoh GR series, which hides all camera UI elements and leaves only a frame for a pure camera experience.

Based on a previous leak, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.5-inch Sony LYT-700 sensor, as well as a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens (ISOCELL HP5) and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
