Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ unveiled with new chips and 7,000 mAh batteries
The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ are now officially available in China. They offer several improvements over their predecessors in key areas, including the display, chipset, and battery capacity.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ feature the same 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 2,772 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum local brightness of 3,200 nits. The panel offers a color depth of 12-bit and is equipped with Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass for additional protection.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is the first smartphone with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, which replaces the 7s Gen 3 in last year’s model. The new chip offers 7% improved CPU and GPU performance and features a 5,200 mm² vapor chamber. The Note 15 Pro+ is available for the first time with a Satellite Messaging Edition for a Redmi smartphone. The Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip, an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7300 found in the Note 14 Pro.
Both Note 15 Pro models feature 7,000 mAh batteries, an increase from the 5,500 mAh and 6,200 mAh of their predecessors. The Note 15 Pro+ offers 90W wired charging, while the Pro offers 45W. Thanks to the 22.5W wired reverse charging function, you can also use the new Redmi phones as a power bank.
Both phones use the camera configurations of their predecessors. The Note 15 Pro+ features a 50MP main module (OV Light Hunter 800), a 50MP portrait lens (60mm) with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide-angle lens. The Note 15 Pro offers a 50 MP main camera (LYT-600) and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
The Note 15 Pro and Pro+ also offer IP68 and IP69K dust and water resistance and launch with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ Prices
The Redmi Note 15 Pro is available in Midnight Black, Cedar White, Sky Blue, and Cloud Purple. Prices start at CNY 1,499 (€178/$208) for the 8/256 GB version and end at CNY 1,899 (€226/$264) for the 12/512 GB variant.
The Note 15 Pro+ is available in Midnight Black, Cedar White, Sky Blue, and Smoky Purple. Prices start at CNY 1,999 (€234/$278) for the 12/256 GB model and climb to CNY 2,399 (€286/$334) for the 16/512 GB version, all the way up to CNY 2,499 (€297/$348) for the Satellite Edition with 16/512 GB.
