Google Pixel 10 with three main cameras and Tensor G5 is here
After a flood of leaks, Google officially unveiled the Pixel 10 series at a “Made by Google” event in Brooklyn, New York. The product lineup includes the Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. As expected, the base model now features a telephoto camera for the first time.
The Google Pixel 10 looks identical to its predecessor in terms of design. However, the pill-shaped camera module on the back now houses three sensors instead of two.
The phone features a 48 MP primary sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10.8 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. On the front, there’s a 10.5 MP camera with autofocus. While the base Pixel now has a telephoto camera, the ultra-wide-angle camera is a downgrade from the Pixel 9.
Google’s new base Pixel is equipped with TSMC’s new 3nm Tensor G5 chipset and the Titan M2 chip. The processor is paired with 128/256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 12 GB of RAM.
On the front, the Pixel 10 features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It’s an LTPS type, meaning it can only adapt between 60 and 120 Hz. The display is also brighter, reportedly reaching 2,000 nits in high brightness mode. It continues to be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Google Pixel 10 with 7 years of support
Just like last year, the Google Pixel 10 offers seven years of operating system and security updates. It runs Android 16 out of the box and also offers an improved ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and is IP68 certified.
The phone has a slightly larger 4,970 mAh battery compared to last year’s model. It now supports 29W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. The Google phone also works with the Qi2-compatible Pixelsnap accessory unveiled at the event.
The Google Pixel 10 is available in four color options: Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian. It’s available for pre-order now, starting at €899/$799 for the 128GB option. The 256GB model costs €999/$899.
