iQOO Z10 Lite with new design and Snapdragon 685 chip is here
In June, iQOO introduced the iQOO Z10 Lite with a Dimensity 6300 processor, which is currently available in India. Now iQOO has released a new Z10 Lite with a different design and specifications.
The new iQOO Z10 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset and therefore does not offer 5G support. The smartphone runs on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 and features up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. However, storage expansion is not possible due to the lack of a microSD card slot.
The display is also different. The new model has a 6.67-inch screen, while the previous model was based on a 6.74-inch display. It’s worth noting, however, that the Dimensity model featured a 90 Hz HD+ LCD display with 1,000 nits of brightness, while the Snapdragon version features a 120 Hz Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 1,200 nits of typical brightness and 1,800 nits of peak brightness.
iQOO Z10 Lite: 6,000 mAh battery now charges at 44 watts
The battery capacity of the new iQOO Z10 Lite remains unchanged from the previous model at 6,000 mAh, but charges faster: 44 watts instead of 15 watts. In terms of photography, the new iQOO Z10 Lite features three cameras: an 8 MP selfie camera on the front and a dual rear camera with 50 MP (Sony IMX582) and a 2 MP depth sensor. The previous model had a 5 MP front camera.
Other highlights include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 water resistance, underwater photography, and the ability to operate the display even with wet hands. The smartphone also features stereo speakers.
If the new iQOO Z10 Lite looks familiar, that’s because it’s a version of the vivo Y400 4G, which was unveiled in Indonesia last month. The only external differences between the two smartphones are the different logos.
The new Z10 Lite is available in Taiga and Glacier colors and offers two storage options: 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB. The smartphone is already listed on iQOO’s Russian website, but price and availability have not been disclosed.
