Apparently, a new thin smartphone called nubia Air is about to be launched. While we wait for details on pricing and availability, reliable tipster Evan Blass has published the technical specifications, a live image, and a rendering, leaving little to the imagination.

The images shared by Blass show the nubia Air in two colors. The smartphone features a punch-hole display on the front and a triple camera setup on the back. The volume rocker and the prominent power button are located on the right side of the phone. At the bottom is the USB-C port, flanked by a SIM card slot and a speaker grille.

The nubia Air runs Android 15 out of the box. It features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,720 x 1,224 pixels and four cameras. These include a 20 MP selfie camera on the front and a triple camera setup on the back. Don’t expect too much here, though— Only the 50 MP main camera is capable of taking decent photos, while two additional 2 MP and 0.8 MP sensors are unlikely to add much value.

nubia Air with Unisoc T8300 chipset

There’s another drawback under the hood – the Air unfortunately only works with a Unisoc T8300 chipset. Even the cheapest Samsung phones have more power. It also comes with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

Other features include an NFC chip and a fingerprint scanner that could be integrated into the display. The smartphone will be just 6.7 mm thin and weigh 172 g. We’re eagerly awaiting the next leak.
