Honor 400 Smart 5G with 6,500 mAh battery launched in Europe
Honor’s mid-range phone has a new addition today: The Honor 400 Smart 5G has been launched in Europe and joins its siblings 400, 400 Pro and 400 Lite. It is already offered by provider Orange in Spain, but will undoubtedly soon be available in other European markets.
The Honor 400 Smart 5G features a 6.77-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,610 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 700 cd/m². It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
On the back, there’s a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor. A 5 MP front camera is available for selfies. The latter should cover basic photography needs at most, in contrast to the very large 6,500 mAh battery, which, however, only charges via cable at 35 watts.
The smartphone runs on Honor’s Magic UI 9.0 interface based on Android 15, for which the manufacturer promises five years of security patches. The Honor 400 Smart 5G measures 166.89 x 76.8 x 8.39 mm and weighs 189 g. With these specifications, it is undoubtedly the cheapest model in the 400 series to date, even surpassing the Honor 400 Lite. However, the Smart has the edge when it comes to battery life.
