Affordable Honor Pad X7 with 8.7-inch display is here

Honor has quietly introduced a new tablet: the Honor Pad X7. It is not to be confused with the Tablet X7, which was officially introduced in May 2021.

The new Honor Pad X7 features an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a peak brightness of 625 cd/m². It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. This is actually a mid-range chipset. However, the 680 is now four years old— Apparently Honor still had some in stock.

The chipset works with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of expandable storage, which is also far from the current state of the art. Added to that is a 7,020 mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging and reverse charging.
Honor Pad X7: Old technology for little money
The device features an 8 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera. Android 15 is already installed. It appears to be available only in gray. It measures 211.8 x 124.8 x 7.99 mm and weighs 365 g.
Honor states that the device has undergone 42 rigorous reliability tests to guarantee its robustness and reliability. These include pressure loads, unexpected drops, extreme environmental conditions, as well as a steel ball impact test, a touchscreen click resistance test, and a torsion test.
The Honor Pad X7 is already available in Saudi Arabia from the Honor online store. With 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, you’ll pay 349 Saudi riyals, which equates to €79 or US$93 at the current exchange rate. However, this is apparently a limited-time offer that expires in about a week. After that, the price is expected to rise to 449 Saudi riyals (€101/US$119).
