Xiaomi MIX Flip 2: First hands-on photos
The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 was announced yesterday and is already available in China. The well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has already got its hands on a device and published some hands-on photos and impressions of Xiaomi’s latest foldable smartphone.
The larger battery of the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 (5,165 mAh, compared to 4,780 mAh in the original) promises longer battery life. In addition, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is also more energy efficient, as with every new generation. The smartphone also supports wireless charging with 50 watts.
The displays of the Xiaomi smartphones are the same size as last year – a 4-inch cover and a 6.86-inch internal display. The crease on the inner display is very small and is therefore the best in the industry, according to DCS in the video.
The rear display was measured at a brightness of 810 nits in sunlight mode, which ensures good visibility outdoors.
For wireless charging: Xiaomi offers magnetic covers that work with MagSafe-compatible chargers and stands.
In addition, Xiaomi has developed a portable photo printer. This CNY 700 (€ 83/$ 100) additional device has a trigger and transforms its digital recordings into physical photos.
