Huawei nova Y73 introduced with familiar design and specs
A month ago, Huawei announced its smartphone Enjoy 80 for the Chinese market. The affordable mobile phone is now listed on the global site as the Huawei nova Y73. It is identical in design and features to the Enjoy 80, right down to the two color options blue and black.
The Huawei nova Y73 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The 8 MP front camera is located in the punch-hole cutout, while the back houses a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an unspecified second additional lens.
The chipset of the nova Y73 is also not yet known. Rumors suggest the Kirin 710A – a 14nm chip from 2018. It is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. Huawei has also added a programmable Enjoy X button on the left side.
Huawei’s EMUI 12 software is used, the battery has a capacity of 6,620 mAh and supports wired charging up to 40 W. The Nova Y73 also offers IP64 protection, NFC, a headphone jack, and an infrared port.
Huawei has yet to announce pricing and availability.
