Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+: Display and camera update
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ are expected to launch later this year. And while an exact launch date is still missing, a major leak now shows at least the design and also reveals some technical details. The new models will largely resemble the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, but with some key differences.
These include the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ only has a single camera on the back. The predecessor Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ also had an ultrawide camera. Otherwise, they look quite similar except for the thick antenna lines. The smaller FE is said to stick with a 10.9-inch LCD display, while the Plus model grows from 12.4 to 13.1 inches. Both tablets are available in three color options, namely gray, blue and silver.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ are powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, which made its debut at the MWC just a few days ago. There is also 8 or 12 GB of RAM, which is an upgrade for the base model, which previously fluctuated between 6 and 8 GB. You can choose between 128 and 256 GB of storage, and there is also a microSD slot on board.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ have been certified by the FCC. Accordingly, there will be both pure WLAN versions (Wi-Fi 6E/ax) and 5G variants. The base model (SM-X526B) supports bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 26, 28, 38, 40, 41, 66, 71, 77 and 78. The FE+ (SM-X528U) communicates over bands 2, 5, 25, 29, 30, 41, 48, 66, 70, 71 and 77. However, these seem to be models for different regions – U usually stands for the US, B for the global version.
Both Samsung tablets have S Pen support and charge at up to 45 watts. We don’t know the battery capacities yet, but assume that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE has the same battery (8,000 mAh Li-Po cell) as its predecessor, while the Plus model is likely to get an upgrade due to its larger display.
The 5G band information comes from the FCC in the US, but India’s BIS has already certified the Tab S10 FE series. So the launch in India should also be imminent. The tablets have also already appeared on Samsung.com.
