The OnePlus 13 is coming next month – to China at least, while the international launch could take a while after that. We’ve already heard a lot about it and today the rumor mill is once again turning to RAM. According to the usually reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 13 will have up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. That’s the maximum value of the predecessor OnePlus 12. Most competitors, on the other hand, stop at 16 GB at the latest.

Unfortunately, there is also some bad news that is directly related to the first piece of information. DCS estimates that the price of the top configuration of the OnePlus 13 with 24 GB of RAM and probably 1 TB of storage is likely to increase. At least compared to the price of the OnePlus 12 with the same RAM/storage combination.

The OnePlus 13 will be the only smartphone with 24 GB of RAM from the first series of new flagships that will hit the market in the coming weeks and months. This includes all models that are equipped with either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset or MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400.

According to previous rumors, the OnePlus 13 will get a 6,000 mAh battery. The cell supports 100 watt wired charging and 50 watt wireless charging. The vibration motor of the 12 model and the main camera will be retained. The display comes in at 6.8 inches with 1,440 x 3,168 pixels and is minimally curved on all sides. There is also an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a higher protection class in terms of water resistance on board.
