Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition with S Pen
Samsung’s oft-rumored Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, until recently also known as Galaxy Z Fold Slim or Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, will indeed have S Pen support. At least that’s what a new rumor claims. This contradicts an earlier rumor that the Samsung pen would not be supported. Whether this is true is not yet known, at least not at this point. However, the originator of the new rumor, Ice Universe, has a pretty good track record when it comes to leaks.
The fact that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition supports the S Pen does not mean that the foldable will have a special internal slot for the pen. The opposite is more likely to be the case, as there simply won’t be enough internal space available to integrate the S Pen, as is the case with the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Either the already limited battery capacity would drop even further or the size of the special edition would increase significantly. Especially since the new foldable is supposed to be the thinnest foldable Samsung phone to date. You can only use it on the device, just like with the Galaxy Z Fold6. Maybe it will also be attached magnetically to the back, like with Samsung notebooks with touch displays.
According to previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will have a new 200 MP main camera. When opened, the Samsung smartphone will be just 4.9 mm thick and when folded just 10.6 mm thick. The inner display will have a diagonal of 8 inches, while the cover display will be 6.5 inches.
