Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Global launch already in January?
According to a new post by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi plans to release its 2025 flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, earlier than usual. If all goes well, the smartphone will be launched in January.
Xiaomi could thus try to finally appeal to a larger target group of new customers outside of China with its flagship phone next year. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be launched in February according to the usual pattern, so the Chinese company would have had a suitable alternative on offer around four weeks beforehand.
Xiaomi’s Ultra models usually come to market in China a few months before their global debut. However, this could change next year. If you look at the latest dates, a clear trend has been emerging for some time. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra came out in July. Its successor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, followed less than a year later in April. This year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra was released in February. The next launch in January. And thus a simultaneous global launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in all markets, should therefore not be too far-fetched.
