Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite gets One UI 6.1 and Android 14

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has just reached its final hour, at least as far as software support goes. The tablet has received its third and probably final operating system update. However, it is important to note that the device received One UI 6.0 earlier this year. The tablet was launched in mid-2021 with Android 11. And at least in South Korea, the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update has just arrived.

The new firmware for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with One UI 6.1 and Android 14 is called T225NKOU8EXH2 and also includes the July 2024 security patch. Plus, of course, most of the new Android 14 and One UI 6.1 features.
While most devices that were due an update have already received the latest One UI 6.1 and some are even waiting for version 6.1.1, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a bit late. On the other hand, it is a cheap tablet with a low priority. In fact, it is already a bit of a surprise that it has even received its third major operating system update.
Samsung is currently rolling out the update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in South Korea, but other regions are likely to follow soon. If you don’t want to wait any longer, you can search for it manually as usual. To do this, simply start the manual search in the settings under Software Update.
