Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Live image, battery specs and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
A few weeks ago, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station said that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will have a battery with a capacity of 6,100 – 6,200 mAh. Now DCS claimed in a Weibo post, which probably refers to the Find X8 Ultra, that the smartphone will get a 6,000 mAh battery. That would still be 1,000 mAh more than the Find X7 Ultra. However, the wired and wireless charging speeds remain the same at 100 watts and 50 watts respectively. The Glacier battery technology on which the new cell is based is already known from the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.
Zhou Yibao, Oppo’s product manager for the Find series, said that the Find X8 Ultra will have a battery with a new cell with a capacity of 6,000 mAh. But he didn’t mention the charging speed. We haven’t heard anything else about the Find X8 Ultra from Oppo itself. But rumors suggest that the smartphone will have a 6.8-inch 8T LTPO display with a resolution of 3,168 x 1,440 pixels. The regular Oppo Find X8, on the other hand, will have a 6.5 to 6.6-inch flat screen. The resolution is 1,256 x 2,760 pixels.
On the back of the Ultra there are four 50 MP cameras, two of which will be periscope telephoto lenses. The other two models will also have a periscope telephoto lens. The data processing in the regular Oppo Find X8 and the Pro model is handled by a Dimensity 9400 chipset. The Ultra will instead get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, which Qualcomm will unveil next month. The tipster also revealed that all three phones will have periscope lenses.
The Find X8 will be available in four colors: black, white, blue and pink. The Find X8 Pro will skip the pink version and only come in black, white and blue. The smartphones will have glass backs.
