Xiaomi Smart Band 9 comes to Europe on August 16, here is the price

Xiaomi’s latest fitness bracelet was officially launched in China last month and is now almost ready to make its way to Europe. According to Xiaomi’s online store for the Netherlands, the Smart Band 9 will first go on sale on August 16 at 10am local time. It is priced at €39.99. The Smart Band 9 is also available in an NFC-enabled version, which will undoubtedly be a bit more expensive. The Smart Band 9 is available in four colors – pink, black, white and blue.

The Xiaomi smart band has a mechanism for quickly changing the strap and there is even a ceramic version. The regular one is made of metal instead. But it is unclear whether this will make its way to Europe or not. The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 has a battery life of 21 days, or 9 days with the Always On Display enabled. There’s a linear vibration motor with 20 vibration modes and a 16% more accurate heart rate sensor compared to the Smart Band 8.

The 1.62-inch OLED display of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 has a resolution of 490 x 192 pixels. The peak brightness is 1,200 nits. This should make it much easier to read in the sun than the Band 8 and Band 8 Pro. It has more than 150 fitness modes and a 233 mAh battery that takes an hour to fully charge. The Band 9 also has Bluetooth 5.4 and is waterproof up to 50 m.
Anyone who buys the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 during the first sale in the Netherlands will get a pair of Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earphones for just € 1.99. However, this only saves you € 11 – you can’t get much cheaper than Xiaomi headphones.
