The Realme 13 Pro series is here and relies entirely on photography functions including AI image processing. The whole thing is called Realme Hyperimage+ AI photography architecture and is intended to combine flagship hardware with on-device AI imaging algorithms and cloud-based AI image processing functions. The latter includes features such as Smart Removal, Group Photo Enhancement and Audio Zoom.

In terms of hardware, the Realme 13 Pro+ is the first smartphone to come onto the market with Sony’s LYT-701 sensor under its 50 MP main camera (24 mm). Another first is the 3x telephoto lens with a Sony LYT-600 sensor (1/2 inch) with 50 MP resolution and 73 mm focal length. Both rear shooters have OIS and are complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens (16 mm).

The 13 Pro has a smaller 50MP main sensor (LYT-600) but the same 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens as the Pro+. Realme also revealed that the design inspiration for the 13 Pro series comes from the works of French painter Claude Monet with brushstrokes on the frosted glass back. Otherwise, both phones have the same 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Both Realme smartphones also use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

Realme also announced that the 13 Pro series and all future models in the Pro series will come with a 512GB storage option. The brand also promised that all future Pro series devices will be at least IP65 water and dust resistant. Both smartphones have 5,200mAh batteries with wired 45W fast SuperVOOC charging on the 13 Pro and 80W on the 13 Pro+.
