Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Slim: Cover display from the Galaxy S24 Ultra
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Slim is appearing more and more frequently in leaks. The latest rumor revolves around the cover display. It supposedly has the same aspect ratio as the screen of the Galaxy S24 Ultra – 19.5:9. The information comes from China, more precisely from the well-known tipster Ice Universe.
While the aspect ratio remains the same, the external screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Slim will be smaller at 6.5 inches than that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra (6.8 inches). However, the main display beats everything that has come before at a whopping 8 inches. In comparison, the new Galaxy Z Fold6, which Samsung announced earlier this month, has 6.3 inches on the outside and 7.6 inches on the inside.
Of course, there is another name floating around in the rumor mill for the Galaxy Z Fold Slim as the new top smartphone. Namely Galaxy Z Fold Ultra. It will apparently have a titanium frame and be both thinner and lighter than the Fold6. Accordingly, it is unfortunately also safe to assume that it will set a new price record in the Samsung cell phone sector.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Slim is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter, i.e. between October and December. However, it is still unclear which markets Samsung is targeting. Some rumors suggest that it will only be available in Korea and China. Ice Universe, on the other hand, says that the Slim should not be confused with the Samsung W25, a special foldable for the Chinese market. We are excited for the next leak.
